Still the best mom & pop Mediterranean food in the area! Food is absolutely delicious and servers are super nice and responsive. Steak and cheese panini is so delicious and a must try with fries. The tour of Greece is also a great choice because you get 3 mini-pitas with chicken, beef and lamb. It's a nice cozy restaurant in Old Town Manassas. So after your meal you can walk the area to nice shops or a park.

I've been to katerina's at least 20 times and it's my favorite greek spot in nova. The go-to affordable dish is the katerina's gyro with potatoes. Thank me later .

Another great experience yesterday. Our extra appetizer was Taramosalata. It was good. It was very good but just not the "wow" for us. We found a entree' that we liked, lamb chops. We both like them with the lemon and without the tzatziki sauce. Lamb chops, roasted Greek potatoes and the green beans!! Yummy! We only remember to take two photos one of the Taramosalata and the Galaktoboureko. Unfortunately the pictures we got wasn't a good representation of this fabulous dessert. I'm not sure what happened with that. But as usual this place was packed. At one time we saw six carry-out orders for one delivery person! I'm not sure if I mentioned the servers. The attentiveness of the servers is something we've rarely seen outside of Chinese buffet. Any server passing your table will offer refills on drinks, to make sure we have everything we need, if the food is to our liking and will take away empty plates, etc.

Excellent service and food! They gave us complimentary pita and olive oils with basalmic vinegar! The pita bread was soft in the center and crisp in the outside! The setting is nice and quaint with efficient service. The made to order desserts are true to taste and sublime in flavor.

My wife and I recently enjoyed one of the best meals I had in quite a while at Katarina's. We were quickly seated and our orders taken. M wife got the moussaka and I got the Pork Souvlaki with Greek potatoes. For an appetizer we ordered the calamari. The calamari was both plentiful and wonderful. Katerina's serves their calamari with a sweet and sour sauce which strikes me is a bit odd. So we asked for a side of marinara which went much better with it. They then brought out some warm pita bread and wonderfu sweet oil to dip it in. I also got a side Greek salad which was good but could have used a bit more feta cheese. Soon after we finished our appetizers the main courses came out. Both were hot and Incredibly flavorful. The two skewers of pork mine came with was tender and flavorful. And my wife's moussaka practically covered an entire dinner plate. It was huge and she said, wonderful. During the meal the waiter came back several times to make sure we had everything we needed. I could not have asked for more and as we left my wife and I promised ourselves we'd be back Katrina's soon for another marvelous meal.

I been to this wonderful restaurant many times and it never disappoints! Such a pleasing and comfortable environment with great attentive staff. I ordered my usual - calamari for starters and a gyro with extra Tzatziki sauce and a side of Greek potatoes. The food continues to be simply amazing!! Always freshly made with outstanding ingredients. It's the kind of place that just makes you want to come back over and over again. Love the calamari- cooked very nicely, tender with a light breading and a nice dipping sauce. As for the gyro - what a mountain of heavenly deliciousness! They always use the finest ripe tomatoes to go with their amazing gyro meat! This restaurant is certainly on my list of top places to enjoy! Give it a try if you haven't been yet - you'll be very pleasantly surprised.

I've eyeballed Katerina's as I've driven past a zillion times over the years - but never stopped in to check it out. Today was finally the day - I was in the area doing some Christmas shopping - and opted to stop in for lunch to go. After looking over the menu - I went with their traditional Gyro (they also offer a Pork Gyro). The food came up fairly quickly. After getting out of their parking lot - I found someplace else to stop and eat in the car. The Gyro was excellent. The wrap that it was in was soft and fluffy. The Takziki sauce was delish - and the veggies added some nice textural elements. The only thing I can think of that I'd like different - is I appreciate a bit of char on the Gyro meat - of which there was none - but it tasted great! I will be back for more Gyros and to try out some other dishes and eat in! #KaterinasGreekCuisine
